Guarantee scheme:
Volg de Rode Schoentjes makes use of the Activa Bolsena guarantee scheme.
As of February 1st 2010, Activa Bolsena applies the following conditions in business dealings with its clients.
These terms and conditions have been filed with the Chamber of Commerce in Apeldoorn (the Netherlands).
Activa Bolsena uses its own guarantee system.
This concerns: “Stichting Beheer Derden geld Activa Bolsena”. This foundation was drawn up by civil-law notary Mr. J.H. van Maaswaal in Waardenburg and registered with the Chamber of Commerce. Activa Bolsena has opted for this guarantee scheme in order to offer its customers a good guarantee. This is a safe way for both Activa Bolsena and its customers. The client deposits the money into the account of the “Stichting Beheer Derden Gelden Activa Bolsena” and one week before departure this money is transferred to the bank account of Activa Bolsena. For example, the client has the guarantee that the trip/vacation will happen or that the money will be refunded if Activa Bolsena cannot or no longer fulfill its obligations towards the client due to financial inability.

In exceptional cases, Activa Bolsena may request that the money be transferred directly to the company’s account for the following reasons: large deposits due a few months before departure to meet the requirements of the accommodation providers and/or transportation. In addition, if desired, the customer can inspect the transfer from the business account to the issuer by means of a copy of the Activa Bolsena bank statement.

If you (unfortunately) want to cancel, you will pay the following cancellation costs in addition to any reservation costs owed:
In case of cancellation up to the 42nd day (exclusive) before the day of departure: the deposit.
In case of cancellation from the 42nd day (inclusive) to the 28th day (exclusive) before the day of departure: 35% of the travel sum.
In case of cancellation from the 28th day (inclusive) to the 21st day (exclusive) before the day of departure: 40% of the travel sum.
In case of cancellation from the 21st day (inclusive) to the 14th day (exclusive) before the day of departure: 50% of the travel sum.
In case of cancellation from the 14th day (inclusive) to the 5th day (exclusive) before the day of departure: 75% of the travel sum.
In case of cancellation from the 5th day (inclusive) until the day of departure: 90% of the travel sum.
In case of cancellation on the day of departure or later: the full travel sum.
A maximum of 12 participants and a minimum of 6 participants applies to all workshops. In case of insufficient registrations for the workshops, Volg de Rode Schoentjes reserves the right to cancel them up to 2 weeks in advance. The amount paid minus € 25,- administration costs will be returned.
